New poll is up…
Maybe a little risqué, but fun nonetheless.

New poll is up…
Ok, so I know this is something of a dead horse, but, as long as I continue to see it happen, I feel compelled to rant.
Why. Trade. Games?
I watch it happen every day and I
-
just
-
don’t
-
understand.
Just recently I watched a guy receive $3.00 for a game he originally bought for $60. Curious, I decided to see how much the freshly traded in game would be stickered for…the answer?
$44
Holy $#!+!
I actually physically stopped the guy before he left the store and asked him how he felt about what had just happened. His reply?
“It’s better than nothin’.”
No a**hole! It IS nothing!
It’s the most amazing thing in the world to me because even the customers that say, “What?! Only $8.00?!” or “But this is a brand new game!” all seem to succumb to the same consumer lapse in judgement.
Imagine this scenario playing out…
You: Hey Saku, I just got through playing that Fallout 3 you sold me. Wanna buy it back?
Me: Hm? Hell yeah! I’ll give you $4 for it.
You: Wha? But I bought it from you for $20!
Me: I know! So I’m sure I can sell it to our friend Mark for at least $17!
Is there anybody reading this that wouldn’t immediately punch me in the mouth?
However, according to actual observation, apparently the conversation continues like this…
You: Oh…well…that sucks…but I guess it’s better than nothing.
Me: Huh? Oh, yeah, sure it is kid. Move along. Next!

Thanks to everyone who completed the Question of the Day. Surprisingly enough, the final tally has the PS3 and the Xbox360 sharing top honors. I expected that the Wii might actually win this one in a landslide based solely on its price point. Since plenty of people own a Wii just because it was “the affordable one” for so many years, I thought the other two systems would have some catching up to do. I guess not! It just goes to show that our readers are true connoisseurs. (^_^)
According to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville, North Carolina, an estimated 17 to 21 million people in the United States are affected by a fear of this day. Some people are so paralyzed by fear that they avoid their normal routines in doing business, taking flights or even getting out of bed.
Our own resident artist Eryck Webb has created an exciting piece of art to commemorate this most infamous of occasions.

Thanks everyone for participating in the first ever Possessed! Question of the Day.
The question was, “Did you see this poll?” Of those of you who participated, 74% of you said you did, in fact, see this poll.
Not too remarkable…maybe even (dare I say) expected.
However!
A remarkable 26% of readers were able to cast their vote in this poll without ever actually seeing the poll.
That’s intense!
I mean, think about that for a moment.
…
…
…
Awesome, right?
This number is a result of our incredible popularity in the blind swordsman, ninja, and superhero demographics.
Thanks guys!
Ok, I have really confused the @#$% out of a few of you, so let me set the record straight and answer a few questions that I’ve been getting.
(a) The name of this comic strip will not be “Natural 20s”.
I wanted it to be. Of course, originally I wanted it to be a strip about games and gaming and such, but as I got further along I realized that although I enjoy that stuff, I don’t want to have to write about it on a daily basis. I don’t think that’s where my best stories are. So I changed the content but “Natural 20s” remained the working title. When we get the new headers, banners, etc. completed I’ll switch them out. For now, I’ll switch the individual strip titles to avoid any further confusion. I should’ve done that months ago but Saku = Procrastination.
(b) For My Own Good is not dead.
When I first sat down and penned FMOG (yeah, penned I still do that), I had a very clear cut vision for the series. I didn’t always stick to my vision, but I love that series and have no intention of abandoning Blount and Pierce or their endless struggle to find true love…or a rewarding one night stand. FMOG gets it’s own relaunch soon, probably in or around October.
(c) Yes, that is Ronnie.
(d) Yes, that is “the blonde girl from the other comic”.(Alexa fyi)
Ok, I’ll be editing this post if any interesting new questions pop up.
I hope that cleared up a few things. To be honest, I’m really thankful that, after such a long layoff, anyone even cares to question. Your responses have been wonderful (even the overly panicky ones). Stick with us (^_^)! We look forward to keeping you entertained!

Hey readers! Thanks for bearing with us as we get the site up and running again. Look forward to lots more updates and about a dozen new site features as the weeks progress.

My books need no one to accuse or judge you: the page which is yours stands up against you and says, “You are a thief.”

I’ll say this, if he DOES get away with it, I’m starting my own manga the next day.
It’s about this blond haired sailor kid with really long arms…

We should talk.
I have definitely missed you guys and for those of you who expected an update yesterday, I apologize. However, I’m back now! I’m ready to get back to what i enjoy most…working for you guys (^_^). A quick “Thank you!” to all the loyal readers and “Welcome!” to any first timers. Let’s get this show back on the road. The world’s a bit different than when I left it…
We should talk.
